Product Control Statement

Stargate-Framework is intentionally designed to mimic advanced threat software to enable realistic adversary simulations. As the platform evolves, so does its dual-use risk.

To ensure Stargate-Framework remains a tool for good, we enforce safeguards to:

  • Restrict access to licensed security professionals using the product ethically and lawfully
  • Limit the attractiveness of the product to malicious actors
  • Prevent uncontrolled proliferation of the software

Examples include:

  • Watermarking licensed builds with unique customer identifiers
  • Reducing evasion capabilities in the trial version
  • Enforcing license agreements and export restrictions through technology and legal measures

Export Compliance Statement

Computer Network Operations, Inc. complies with all applicable U.S. export control laws, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations.

The U.S. Department of Commerce has classified Stargate-Framework under ECCN 5D002.c.1. We adhere strictly to export conditions under this classification and:

  • Limit all product sales and trial access to U.S.-based customers only (at this time)
  • Report all applicable sales and access activity to the U.S. Government
  • Maintain a comprehensive internal Export Control Compliance Program

Our program includes:

  • Government-issued commodity classification documentation
  • Order screening for red flags, subterfuge, and sanctioned parties
  • End-use risk assessments for all customers

Legal Request Policy

We cooperate with U.S. law enforcement agencies and comply with valid legal processes. We do not disclose non-public customer information without proper legal authority.

All requests are reviewed by our legal counsel to ensure compliance with the Stored Communications Act and other applicable laws. If a request is overbroad or invalid, we may challenge or narrow its scope before responding.
